UPCOMING EVENTS AND SERVICES
Alpha Phi Omega TUP-Visayas is committed to give service to the community. These upcoming events and Services surely help the community in a simple way. Also we have activities for the members and newbies to improve the core of our chapter.
Gawad Kalinga
During our last service in GK HOPE Village in Brgy. Cabatangan, Talisay City, GK Talisay has invited us in building SIX new homes in the GK HOPE Village. This is our chance again to build hopes for the beneficiaries.
Target Date: October 2nd Week (for Confirmation)
Venue: Brgy. Cabatangan, Talisay City
Status: Confirmation of the Final Date. Ready to go.
Tree Planting and Hiking
We believe that Planting Trees is one way of saving our planet Earth from the current problems that we are facing - GLOBAL WARMING. Trees converts CO2 to O2 which can give us good air to breath and makes the world more beautiful. Also part of this 2 in 1 event is our hiking to Famous Tinagong Dagat in the Mountains of Silay City. During the hike, clean up will be done with documentation of the Mountaineering Rules.
Target Date: November (Depends on the weather for our safety)

Rover Scouting
As a scouting based fraternity and sorority, Alpha Phi Omega TUP-Visayas is also conducting Rover Scouting Vigils, that would prepare its members to be a good scout and leader. In this vigils, Spirit of Scout oath and law was embraced by its members. It is also open for not APO Members who are in touched with the scouting movement.
Target Date: First Week of November
Target Venue: Searching for a safe and not so expensive place.
Status: On the way
Operation Ngirit
Ngisi a Hiligaynon Dialect that means "Smile", this operation is a Dental Mission. But this plan is still in need of planning and funds. We are still looking for Dentists, who are willing to work together with us. Anesthesia and Antibiotics will be provided by APO TUP-V.
